Boston Marine Park Business Association

The BMPBA was founded to give tenants of the Park a collective voice. By communicating and working together, we strengthen our ability to solve common problems and encourage appropriate development and growth.

Boston Virtuosi

Our mission is to bring to people of all ages the intimacy, power, and marvelous repertoire that are unique to a chamber orchestra. We are an ensemble comprised of busy Boston free-lance musicians who are colleagues and friends. BV members share the vision of making music in a spirit of true collaboration and insight. 

Fort Point Arts Community

The Fort Point Arts Community, Inc. of South Boston (FPAC) is a non‐profit community organization founded in 1980 and run by neighborhood artists and volunteers. Our mission is to promote the work of our artists to a broad and diverse audience; to preserve the artists’ community in the Fort Point Channel area; to insure the continuance of permanent, affordable studio space; to build community; and to increase the visibility of the arts in Fort Point.  In Fort Point, artists not only create art, we present two Open Studios events each year, organize art lending programs, run galleries and a store, produce temporary public art, and are active participants in determining the future of our neighborhood. We encourage new ideas, collaboration, connections, and economic growth.

 

Fort Point Cultural Coalition

The Fort Point Cultural Coalition (FPCC) began in 1999 as a group of non-profit arts organizations and neighborhood artists whose mission is to preserve, promote and expand the cultural community in the Fort Point Channel area of Boston. The Coalition’s goals are to secure affordable live/work space for artists and affordable facilities for the arts organizations, to encourage collaboration in our community, and to raise the visibility of Fort Point as New England’s largest and most established arts community. Over the years the FPCC has sponsored many public art projects and most notably lead the development of Midway Studios, an 89 unit live/work studio building in Fort Point. Fort Point Neighborhood Association

FPNA’s mission is to build a socially interactive civic life in Fort Point. Working with the neighborhood, we seek to advance shared interests, including: Monitor issues affecting residents and business, Interact with elected officials and policy makers, Interact with, and support local organizations, Promote Fort Point’s historic and social fabric, Organize and attend events and social gatherings.

Fort Point Theatre Channel

Fort Point Theatre Channel is dedicated to creating and sustaining new configurations of the performing arts. We bring together an ensemble of artists from the worlds of theater, music, visual arts, and everything in between as a forum for collaborative expression while enriching the Fort Point community, Boston, and beyond.

Friends of Fort Point Channel

Friends of Fort Point Channel (Friends) is a nonprofit organization committed to making the Fort Point Channel an exciting and welcoming destination for all of Boston’s residents, workforce and visitors.  The Friend’s year round programming is free to the public and includes free events, guides and business meetings.

Seaport Transportation Management Association

The Seaport Transportation Management Association (“Seaport TMA”) is a non-profit consortium of leading businesses, employers, developers, and property managers in the South Boston Waterfront and Fort Point Channel dedicated to easing commutes, reducing local traffic congestion and advancing the use of alternative transportation options.
